We went for a lovely walk in the local woods today and saw some butterflies. Unfortunately no photo opportunities but it's early days yet!! I was quite surprised to see so many different species, they were the usual suspects for this time of year:
Brimstone, Red Admiral, Orange Tip, Peacock and a Holly Blue (smaller than I imagined).
I can't wait to study/rear some different species this year.
